This is a little bit about the camp I work for and how I came to be here.
New Life Bible Camp is a relatively small Christian camp in Buffalo Mills, Pennsylvania. Buffalo Mills is a place that you would be hard pressed to find on a map, much less actually get there. It’s a beautiful area, though, surrounded by mountains and amazingly gorgeous in winter or summer.
I found out about NLBC through my church, which offered attendance and Scripture memorization scholarships for children who wanted to go. I went for a week two summers in a row. I was 10 and 11 in those summers. After that, I started going to horse camp, then to a Christian youth conference each summer, in place of camp. I missed NLBC and came to drop off and pick up my brothers.
Last summer, when I was fifteen, I applied as kitchen staff and spent the summer preparing meals. I loved it. It was such a time of growth for me. This summer I was eager to return. I have grown even more this year than I did last year–and there are still three weeks left of camp!
Below are a few pictures of camp.
